Will benefits cover my CPAP?

Coverage and qualification varies depending on your provider, however our team of experts would be happy to help you get coverage. Here are some quick notes on insurance coverage for CPAP equipment:

  • Many private insurance providers or “Third party Extended benefits”  cover CPAP equipment; however, the level of coverage and rules for coverage will depend on your specific insurance policy.
  • Extended Health Benefits typically cover between 80%-100% of the cost.
  • Most insurance companies will require: CPAP receipt, Valid Doctor’s prescription from a medical doctor and Sleep study results (If first time purchase for CPAP machine).
  • We recommend you contact your insurance provider to find exact coverage for CPAP machines, masks, supplies and frequency. Pre-approval might be required.
  • Questions to ask your insurance provider:
  1. Do I have coverage for a CPAP machine?
  2. Does my coverage include masks, hose, filters and other accessories?
  3. How often can I replace my CPAP machine, mask, hose and filters?
  4. What documents are required for claiming?

Note: CPAP Superstore does not offer direct billing.*
