The Lumin uses a powerful germicidal UVC bulb and reflective interior chamber to create concentrated, germ-destroying light - the same cleaning technology found in hospital operating rooms and sterile clean rooms.

The Lumin relies on a germicidal lamp designed to produce the highest amounts of UV radiation, generating around 90% of its energy at approximately 254nm — very close to the 265nm peak of germicidal effectiveness, the most lethal wavelength for microorganisms.

The result: a 3-minute exposure produces a 100% kill rate in lab testing, while the full 5-minute cycle adds extra margin for real-world personal use conditions.

The Lumin device measures approximately 12.25" L x 8.50" W x 7.75" H, with a 9.50" x 6.50" x 3.50" interior sanitizing chamber compact enough for your nightstand or bathroom counter, with room for full-face masks and water chambers.

Note on hoses: Standard hoses (under 6 feet) can be sanitized in the drawer.

Does the Lumin work with my ResMed / Philips / Fisher & Paykel mask? Yes. The Lumin is compatible with all major CPAP and BiPAP mask brands and models.

Is UV-C light safe? Yes, when used as designed. The Lumin's built-in safety shut-off prevents UV exposure whenever the drawer is open. Never look directly into the chamber while it's running.

Do I still need to wash my mask? UV-C light disinfects surfaces — it doesn't remove physical debris like skin oils or mineral deposits. A quick wipe with a CPAP wipe before each cycle gives you the best results. Think of the Lumin as your daily disinfection step, not a replacement for periodic washing.

Can I sanitize my CPAP hose in the Lumin? Standard hoses under 6 feet can be placed flat in the drawer.
